Final hiking tour

For the past two weeks, including the Christmas holidays and new year’s Eve, we had rented a little house at Triopetra at the south coast. After a week or so we started to miss the vanlife – despite the hot showers, fully equipped kitchen and reasonably sized bed which the house featured.

Another ferry night and we arrived on Crete. The first week we spent on “Como Beach”, right in the South, where we found a nice place for our van, just in front of the sea, and enjoyed just relaxing on the beach, the local Tavernas, and wonderful sunsets.
Our little rented flat in Paleochora has been a home base for the past weeks and still is. It is a calm little town, offering good places to get local vegetables, fresh fish, some take-away tavernas and bakeries. Everybody knows everyone here.
