On our way home, we had a few days in Peloponnes to drive up a 250 kilometres to Patras, where the ferry leaves to Ancona in Italy.

Last view to Crete

Avoiding the larger sitis, there is a ferry from Crete to the Peleponnes, arriving in Gythia. A beautiful view onto some snow-covered mountains in the back, we parked close to the city to stay for a night.

I had never seen wild flamingos before. Here they came close to our car in the morning, and flew away when we opened the door.

Yesterday we found an amazing place. It features a nice lonely spot for our van under a tree, a fantastic seaview, a little sandy bay just for us (we still go swimming daily), and a small village in walking distance for shopping.
