First week on Crete
Another ferry night and we arrived on Crete. The first week we spent on “Como Beach”, right in the South, where we found a nice place for our van, just in front of the sea, and enjoyed just relaxing on the beach, the local Tavernas, and wonderful sunsets.
Pretty much like normal holidays, with the difference that the available time seems to be almost unlimited – no thoughts about a soon-to-come ending or being driven by the need to spend the time as meaningful as possible. How much time we spent in our lives by doing something while our mind is already planning or at least preparing for the next step! While cooking, we focus on the meal, whil eating, we think about the walk after dinner and then talking about tomorrow’s plan. We all heard this famous quote:
